Last week I spotted this stripey shirt and passed it by not really taking notice. It was only when I seen Danielle wearing the shirt I realised its potential. Kendall Jenner stunned in Cannes wearing a beautiful mauve Calvin Klein creation. Swaying away from the traditional ball gown favoured by most this fashion risk definitely paid off. This two piece with full skirt has received rave reviews & press coverage.The cross over top shows off her perfectly toned arms and stomach while not being too revealing. As the pictures below show the vast amount of fabric used to create the matching skirt. Not only is this one of the most stylish looks at Cannes this year. Miss Jenner has definitely put the colour mauve on the map.

A recent survey published by Bank of Ireland states an average wedding guest can spend over €800. This figure includes the cost of outfits, wedding gift/cash and accommodation. Considering we are fast approaching the peak summer wedding season I have selected my top three yellow dresses perfect for this time of the year and very reasonably priced.

First up is this beautiful bardot style dress from Topshop retailing at €76.00. The neckline is perfect for any ladies who want to show off their decolletage.

The wait is finally over and Taylor Swift has released the long awaited Bad blood music video featuring Kendrick Lamar. As I mentioned yesterday on my Twitter account @emmasdailystyle this really is the Ultimate squad. Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid are just of a few of the star cameos. To be honest it's difficult to keep up with all the A list stars that pop up on screen. My personal favs are Ellen Pompeo and Mariska Hargitay who Taylor famously named her cats after their characters Olivia Benson & Merrideth Grey.

Who Loves Short Shorts??

As the song goes who loves short shorts? The answer is of course we all do. As we are now half way through the month of May we should be getting great wear out of these little beauties. Unfortunately not for us Irish folk. Non the less I have compiled a selection of my most favourite high street shorts.

Starting the proceedings my favourite from the below collage are these beautiful multi-coloured embroidered high waisted shorts from Topshop priced at €53.00. They look like a gorgeous Moroccan mosaic tile. The high waisted style make them very flattering for most ladies and the rich colours make them an ideal transitional piece for the winter months worn with a black pair of tights.

Continuing the high waist theme are the Zara stripped shorts priced at €39.95. The nautical theme is a summer staple that never tires or dates. An ideal summer investment as they shorts can be worn casually as well as dressed up.

You cannot talk about shorts without mentioning the old reliable denim and the cheapest of the bunch at €19.99 from H&M.They are so cute and perfect for a laid back beach vibe.

#HMBALMAINATION was definitely the top hashtag today on Twitter. H & M have excelled themselves over the years with amazing designer collaborations from Marni to most recent Alexander Wang. The newest and arguably the most exciting is the impending collab with Balmain Paris launching in 250 stores on the 5th of November 2015.

For any self respecting fashionista this date will be circled on their calender and a huge reminder placed in all iphones. "I want to talk to my generation" said Balmain Designer Oliver Rousteinger on the announcement which sent social media into a frenzy. Kendal Jenner and Jourdan Dunn posed alongside Oliver to give a sneak peak of the collection.

The structured embroider blazer modeled by Kendal is klassic Kardashian who as a family favour the Balmain designer brand. Another signature piece is the heavily embellished top worn by Jourdan. If this preview is anything to go by a lot of damage will be done to all our credit cards!
